Entry Level topics

Counting, basic addition/subtraction, simple money and time. Below GCSE grade 1.

Entry Levels build foundation skills for adult learners. Entry 1: counting and recognising numbers to 20. Entry 2: numbers to 100, addition and subtraction. Entry 3: numbers to 1000, simple multiplication and division, halves and quarters of amounts.

Worked examples
Entry 1: count 1 to 20; tell o'clock and half past.
Entry 2: read numbers to 100; add 2-digit + 1-digit.
Entry 3: 3-digit numbers; 2 to 10 times tables; basic fractions.
