About Maths Help
Show-your-working percentage maths and UK grade calculators.
Maths Help is part of a family of UK calculator sites: this site, percentagecalculator.co.uk, vatcalculator.uk, agecalculator.co.uk and maths-help.co.uk.
All calculators are reviewed in-house by a business analyst against current UK published data (see the editorial reviewer page).
How calculations are derived
Each calculator includes the formula, worked examples in pounds with current UK figures, and sources with retrieval dates. UK 2026/27 thresholds are used for tax, NI, ISA, pension and stamp duty calculators. ONS, HMRC, Ofgem, NS&I, Land Registry, and the Bank of England are the primary data sources.
